The Jajarkot District ( Nepali जाजरकोट जिल्ला ) is one of 77 districts in Nepal and has been part of the Karnali Province since the 2015 constitution .

history

The district was part of the Bheri administrative zone until 2015 .

geography

In 2017, Jajarkot was one of the ten poorest and most underdeveloped districts in Nepal with a Human Development Index value of less than 0.4.

At the 2001 census it had 134,868 inhabitants, in 2011 it was 171,304.
