The Lalitpur District ( Nepali ललितपुर जिल्ला ) is one of 77 districts in Nepal.

It is located in the Bagmati administrative zone . The administrative seat is in Lalitpur . The district has an area of ​​385 km² and had 466,784 inhabitants at the 2011 census. Lalitpur is one of three districts in the Kathmandu valley next to the districts of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur .
