Tino di Geraldo (* 1960 in Toulouse as Faustino Fernández Fernández ) is a Spanish drummer of Flamenco Jazz (also Cajon , Tabla ).

Live and act

Di Geraldo, who grew up in France, started his career as a punk rocker in Spanish bands such as Tapones Visente . He accompanied singers such as Luís Eduardo Aute and Pablo Guerrero. Then he switched to the flamenco sector , where he played first with Diego Carrasco and then with Camarón , Manolo Sanlúcar , El Pele, Vicente Amigo and Pepe Habichuela and took part in recordings by Paco de Lucía . With Carles Benavent and Jorge Pardo he formed one of the central groups of flamenco jazz, with whom he appeared at many festivals around the world and recorded several albums. He has also released two albums under his own name, Flamenco lo seras tú and Burlerías, which also contain his own compositions. He also worked in a trio with Nguyên Lê and Renaud Garcia-Fons and is involved in recordings of Huong Thanh , Suso Saiz ( Quartet ) and the rock band Golpes Bajos ( Vivo ). Since 2006 he has also worked with Jackson Browne . He also played with Raimundo Amador (* 1959), Abdu Ed Medji, Tomasito, El Potito, Bidinte, Luz Casal , Carmen París and Germán Coppini.
