Carmen París (born September 18, 1966 in Tarragona ) is a Spanish fusion musician (vocals, piano, percussion, composition) who draws from flamenco and the Aragonese and Andalusian musical tradition.

Live and act

París grew up in Utebo . She received extensive musical training at the Zaragosa Conservatory and studied English philology. She was also active as a singer in musical groups. Interested in new interpretations of the iota from Aragón and its fusion with elements of classical jazz and traditional Spanish and Latin American music, she worked with musicians such as Chano Domínguez , Guillermo McGill and Javier Colina and recorded her debut album Pa 'mi genio . The album sold well and received the award for best album of traditional music at the Premios de la Música 2003.Tino di Geraldo produced the follow-up album. To date she has released four albums. After initially focusing on appearances in Spain, she first performed abroad in 2013. Due to the Spanish economic crisis, she currently gives concerts mostly in solo programs.

She was also involved in tribute albums for Joaquín Sabina , María Dolores Pradera and Pablo Neruda . She can also be heard on albums by Raúl Paz , Juan Sinmiedo, Armando Manzanero , Aurora Beltrán, Olga Román, José Luis Montón & Gorka Hermosa and Sergio Dalma .
