Jocko Sims (born February 20, 1981 in San Antonio , Texas ) is an American actor and producer.

life and career

Jocko Sims attended the University of California, Los Angeles , which he graduated in 2004.

Sims has been an actor since 2003. He initially had several guest roles in US series such as Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten , The Shield - Law of Violence , New York Cops - NYPD Blue , CSI: Vegas , Private Practice or Grey's Anatomy . From 2008 to 2009 he played the role of Anthony Adams in the LA Crash series .

Other series appearances followed with Bones - The Bone Hunter , Criminal Minds , Navy CIS and Castle . In 2014 he took part in the second season of the series Masters of Sex and played the role of radio operator Werner in the science fiction film Planet of the Apes: Revolution .

From 2014 to 2018, Sims played the role of Lt. Carlton Burk in the series The Last Ship . The talk show Apollo Night LA , which he co-produced, has been running since 2013 , and with a few exceptions he directs all episodes. In 2018 he was appointed Dr. Floyd Reynolds cast in the New Amsterdam hospital series .
