LA Crash (Original title: Crash ) is an American television series whose film concept is based on the film of the same name . The leading roles include: Dennis Hopper as a cynical record producer, Jocko Sims as his assistant, Ross McCall and Nick Tarabay as two police officers who do not always obey the law, and Moran Atias and Brian Tee .

The episode drama sheds light on racism, intolerance and speechlessness in Los Angeles .

In the US, the first season ran between October 17, 2008 and January 9, 2009 on Starz . The first season consists of 13 episodes. Starz then ordered a second season with another 13 episodes. After that, the series was not continued.

In Germany the first season between 17 August 2009 and 9 November 2009 on the Pay TV transmitter FOX broadcast.

The broadcast of the second season started in the US on September 18, 2009 and ended on December 18, 2009. The FOX Channel has been showing the second season since August 1, 2011.

In Germany, the first season of the series was released on December 4, 2009 on DVD. In addition to the 13 episodes, it also contains an approx. 20-minute “Behind the Scenes” bonus material.
