Brian Tee (born March 15, 1977 in Okinawa , Japan ) is an American actor .

life and career

Tee was born in Okinawa ( Japan ) to Japanese-Korean parents. At the age of two he moved with his family to Hacienda Heights ( USA ) and grew up there.

He attended Glen A. Wilson High School and became captain of the football team. During his school days he worked for the pizza service "Blackjack Pizza", whose customer was among others the singer Fergie .

Tea is best known for his role as "Drift King" in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift . He speaks Korean, Japanese and English. In his spare time he does sports and Asian martial arts. In addition to his film roles, he had several supporting roles in series such as Bones - The Bone Hunter , Without a Trace - Vanished without a trace and Grey's Anatomy .
