Lincoln Heights is an American television series that aired on ABC Family between January 8, 2007 and November 9, 2009 . The main character of the series is the Afro-American Eddie Sutton, a police officer, and his family. She is not thrilled when Eddie takes a better paying job in a dangerous area.

season 1

The LAPD - police officer Eddie Sutton moves in with his wife and three children back to his old neighborhood. However, the family soon wonders if this was the right decision as they are exposed to greater risks than before. Eddie also has concerns, not because of the move, but because of his oldest daughter's friend. This is a white student .

The family's fear of living in the neighborhood is compounded by the kidnapping of the other daughter, Lizzie. More and more problems arise at Eddie's work as he arrested the drug dealer Bishop . Due to these incidents, the suttons reconsider their decision, but a letter throws the whole thing into more chaos.

season 2

The second season begins with a race on the children's first day of school. The race gets out of hand, however, and Taylor and a friend lock themselves in the school's computer room. However, you can not get out of this later. Furthermore, a child shoots Eddie in the leg, whereupon Eddi's colleague Kevin Lund shoots the child in the shoulder.

At the hospital , Jenn tries to take care of all of the patients wounded in the race, including her husband. Meanwhile, Taylor and his friend break out of the computer room and Lizzy begins a relationship with Johnny. She also visits Boa, the man who kidnapped her. Cassie begins to make friends with Lund's daughter her age. However, the two run into trouble when drugs are found in the car they are driving . The two are then interrogated by their fathers. During interrogation, the two accuse each other.

Tay is aiming for a career in the music industry, but this displeases his parents. Jenn quits her job at the clinic and starts working at a local hospital. Cassie also finds work in a coffee shop. However, her boyfriend Charles becomes jealous because he thinks Cassie has developed feelings for her boss Luc. A little later, the two split up and Cassie begins a relationship with Luc and Charles with Sage.

Eddie's father visits his family. He finds out that the man who shot his wife and Eddie's mother worked with Jennifer in the hospital and is friends with Taylor.

season 3

Jenn and Eddie's relationship strengthens as life in Lincoln Heights gets tough. On the basis of a scholarship, Lizzie changes schools. Furthermore, Dana, an ex-girlfriend of Eddie, tells him that they have a son named Nate. Taylor's career as a singer is going great, but he's getting more and more into trouble because of it. Sage wakes up from her coma . Outside of the school ball, Mac tries to kidnap Charles' stepfather, Cassie. However, he is prevented from doing so by Taylor. Lizzie's friend Johnny is killed in a car accident . As a result, she falls into depression . Cassie and Charles are filmed having sex on the school stage. Cassie later falsely believes she is pregnant.

During an earthquake that struck Lincoln Heights, Nate is trapped by a beam in his father's house. To distract him from the pain, Eddie asks him questions about his father. Charles' stepfather Mac is struck by a refrigerator during the earthquake , but survives first. However, Charles refuses to help him. He dies before Cassie and Charles decide to help him. Over time, Jenn and Eddie find out that Nate is Eddie's son. Jenn is hit hard by this realization and tries to cope with the new situation.

Many of the houses in Lincoln Heights were destroyed by the earthquake and subsequent fires, including the Suttons' house. The Sutton decide to leave their house. Cassie asks Charles to get her sketchpad from memory. There he discovers a hole in the wall that contains at least $ 100,000. He puts it in his pockets and leaves the house with the money and the pad.

Season 4

Season four begins with an investigation into Cassie and Charles into the murder of Charles' stepfather. However, they cannot be tried because there is insufficient evidence. Shortly afterwards, however, the police are looking for the stolen money in both houses. Lizzie is struggling and struggling to join a community club . In order to be accepted anyway, she invents a rumor about a school friend. She later apologizes and leaves the club. Meanwhile, Charles discovers letters from his father that his mother has hidden from him for 15 years. After a phone call, they both decide to meet. Charles asks Cassie if she would like to accompany him, but her parents forbid it. However, Cassie ignores this announcement and secretly leaves the house at night. In a recreation center, Lizzie befriends a Mexican boy. She goes to his house. On the way back Lizzie is attacked by a man who wants the teddy bear that she is carrying because it contains drugs.

Over time, Cassie finds out that Charles has another secret from her, which is why she is losing her trust in him. To distract herself, Cassie goes to a club with Sage and her friend Serge. When she goes to the toilet there, she notices that Serge is waiting for her. When he tries to touch her, she defends herself with a kick in his crotch. Meanwhile, Lizzie is leaving her club because Andrew tried to kiss her during a song, which brought back memories of Johnny in her. The next day she visits Andrew and explains to Andrew why she left the club. They end up kissing. When the children's grandfather comes to visit, he is not enthusiastic about the friends of his granddaughters.

Cassie and Charles' relationship is in crisis. Charles's brother Travis' visit makes the situation even worse. Lizzie tries to integrate her friend Andrew more into the family. Meanwhile, her grandfather is courting Pastor Jones. While Jenn is dealing with a sudden illness, Cassie tries to judge her future with Charles.

Charles decides to join the army and Cassie is admitted to the Pratt , a prestigious art school in New York City . But before both do these things, they decide to get married. While the newlyweds' families argue over who can host the wedding, the $ 100,000 mystery is solved: The money turns out to be a down payment to Eddie's old boss for a murder when Eddie was a child. A former inmate also says that at least half of the money should belong to the Sutton family.

At the end of the series, Cassie and Charles are engaged to be married. Furthermore, Charles decides not to join the army. Instead, he accepts his father's offer to go to a good college.

Charisma
