Dudhkunda ( Nepali दूधकुण्ड ) is a city ( municipality ) in eastern Nepal in the Solukhumbu District in Province No. 1 .
The district administration is located in the suburb of Salleri . Dudhkunda also has an airfield, Phaplu Airport .
The city of Dudhkunda was created at the end of 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Beni , Garma , Loding Tamakhani and Salleri .
The urban area covers 254.3 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Dudhkunda had 11,247 inhabitants (5,388 male) in 2,789 households.
