Bung ( Nepali बुङ् ) is a village and a Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Solukhumbu district of the Sagarmatha administrative zone in eastern Nepal .

Bung is located in the high Himalayas , 54 km south of Mount Everest . The VDC extends west of the Hunku Drangka . Gudel is located on the opposite side of the valley south of Bung.

Residents

The VDC Bung had 4520 inhabitants (2247 of them male) in 982 households at the 2011 census.
