Dhunche ( Nepali धुन्चे ) is a village and a Village Development Committee in the Rasuwa District in Nepal , about 45 km (as the crow flies) north of Kathmandu .
Dhunche is the administrative seat of Rasuwa. The place is east of the Trishuli river valley . The highway from Kathmandu to Rasuwagadhi on the Chinese border passes Dhunche.
At the 2011 census, Dhunche had 2744 inhabitants (1475 of them male) in 714 households.
