Gerhard Jüttemann

Gerhard Jüttemann (born October 10, 1951 in Bischofferode ) is a former German politician ( PDS ). He was a member of the Bundestag from 1994 to 2002 .

Life

Jüttemann attended the polytechnic high school and then trained as a machining specialist. From 1970 to 1972 he then did basic military service. Since 1974 he has been employed as an underground lathe operator at the Bischofferode potash plant . He was released from work in 1991 when he became deputy chairman of the works council. In February 1994 he became chairman of the works council, but only until November of the same year because he then became a works council member of the Bischofferode mine. Jüttemann is a member of the mining, chemical and energy industrial union.

Gerhard Jüttemann is the chairman of the Thomas Müntzer Potash Association in Bischofferode, which runs the Bischofferode mining museum.

In the federal elections in 1994 and 1998 Jüttemann was able to move into the German Bundestag via the PDS state list of Thuringia. From 1994 to 1998 he was a full member of the Committee for Post and Telecommunications and also a deputy member of other committees, such as the investigative committee “Ververtreutes GDR Assets”. In his second legislative period, Jüttemann was then a full member of the committee for the affairs of the new states.
