Gerhard Schüßler (physician)

Gerhard Schüßler (born on January 17, 1953 in Soest ) is a German psychiatrist, psychotherapist and psychoanalyst.

He is a specialist in neurology , psychiatry , psychosomatics and psychotherapeutic medicine , psychoanalyst and director of the University Clinic for Medical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Medical University of Innsbruck . He acts as an axis spokesman in the OPD ( Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnostics ) working group and teaches at the Sigmund Freud University of Vienna and the Medical University of Innsbruck .
