Gerhard Stocker (born September 14, 1951 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian manager and has been president of FC Wacker Innsbruck since February 2017 .

life and career

In 1974, Gerhard Stocker and Otto Staudacher founded the Stasto Automation company in Innsbruck, which initially installed solenoid valves and compressed air fittings. The range is expanded to include the business fields of pneumatics, industrial valves and hydraulics. The company expanded to the Czech Republic in 1994, Poland in 2005 and Switzerland, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia in 2007. In 2003 Gerhard Stocker handed over the management to his sons Christof Stocker and Dieter Stocker.

After Michael Bielowski was looking for a chairman for the soccer club FC Wacker Tirol, Stocker was elected chairman in March 2003 and led the club until 2009. In February 2017, Stocker agreed to take over the chairmanship of FC Wacker Innsbruck again. From August 2018 to December 2019 Stocker took over the chairmanship of the Austrian Bundesliga, WSG Wattens President Diana Langes-Swarovski and LASK President Siegmund Gruber acted as deputies .
