Gerhardt Gröschke

Gerhardt Gröschke (* 1948 in Brieskow-Finkenheerd ; † 1995 ) was a theater scholar , dramaturge and writer.

life and work

Gröschke attended school up to the 10th grade, then received a combined vocational training as an electrician with high school diploma in the Eisenhüttenkombinat Ost. He studied at the Hans Otto Theater Academy in Leipzig until 1973. Afterwards he was dramaturge at the Theater der Altmark Stendal and at the Kleist-Theater Frankfurt (Oder) . Since 1981 he has been a freelance writer and since 1992 a member of the ZDF television council . After reunification, he headed the MIKADO youth center in Frankfurt (Oder).

He wrote poems, short stories, radio plays, plays, children's books and novels.
