The Zehdenick judicial linden tree is a 350 to 400 year old linden tree in the town of Zehdenick in Brandenburg .
The tree is located a little south of the Zehdenick District Court . Whether the name of the tree derives or from the nearby court whether the tree itself once of court in terms of a court Linde was, is unclear.
The exact age of the tree is unknown, but at least it is the oldest tree in the city of Zehdenick. The tree already existed when the salt magazine, the grain magazine and the fourage magazine for the cuirassiers stationed in Zehdenick , the so-called yellow riders , were still located here in the 18th century .
The tree trunk is largely hollow and is protected from unauthorized entry by wire mesh . To the south of the tree a stone was set with the inscription judgment linden tree .
