Gerlinde Wiencirz

Gerlinde Wiencirz (* 1944 in Breslau ) is a German author and translator of children's books .

Live and act

She grew up in Bonn and, as a trained bookseller, ran Germany's first children's bookstore for a while. She later worked as a picture book editor and freelance editor. For many years she has appeared as an editor and with her own children's books and translations, which have also been reprinted several times.

Gerlinde Wiencirz lives with her family on Lake Constance .
