Germán Manuel Coutinho Rodriguez (born April 1, 1970 ) is a Uruguayan politician , entrepreneur and sports journalist.

Coutinho, married father of four, is a member of the Partido Colorado . He began his political career in Lista 15 . First he was elected in 2000 for five years as Edil in the regional Junta Departamental and held various offices at the departamental level. He is also co-founder of Vamos Salto - Lista 115 , the first president and co-founder of Vamos Uruguay and general secretary of the Colorados in Salto. In the 2009 parliamentary elections, he was then able to win a mandate as senator for the Salto Department. His candidacy in the following year in the local elections of May 9, 2010 for the post of Intendente des Departamento Salto also led to a successful outcome, so that he then in favor of his new political mandate his mandate in the Cámara de Senadores , which continues until the end of the legislative period on February 14, 2015.
