German Baseball Open

The German Baseball Open is an invitation tournament for the Regensburg legionaries , which has been held annually in the Armin Wolf Arena since 1999 . National teams from all over the world meet regularly. In addition to baseball , an extensive supporting program will be initiated.

German Baseball Open 2005

In 2005 four teams competed in the GBO. The national teams from Germany , Romania and Switzerland and a selection of Bundesliga players , the Bundesliga All-Stars. The tournament was played between June 28, 2005 and July 3, 2005 within six match days.

In the final, the German national team and the Bundesliga All-Stars met each other, which the All-Stars won 3-2.

In 2006 the Regensburg Legionnaires decided not to host the German Baseball Open .

German Baseball Open 2007

For the 20th anniversary of the Regensburg Legionnaires , those responsible for the GBO come up with something extraordinary. It is expected that several teams will commit again this year to make the tournament even more exciting.
