The German Golf Teachers Federation (GGTF) is a German golf teacher association . She is an extraordinary member of the DGV and a member of the ÖGV as an associated organization. According to its own information, it is the second largest independent golf association in Germany.
history
The association was founded in 2001 and is based in Weißenburg .
tasks
The main tasks are to offer a golf instructor training based on sports science, medicine and psychology as well as promoting golf on a broad basis. Golf instructor is considered one of the job profiles of a professional golfer .
education
The Fully Qualified Teaching Professional qualification includes a 24-month training course with 320 teaching hours. The training is divided into four levels and eight seminar blocks. In addition, the C-Trainer training at the DGV and an internship in a golf club are required for the completion . The dual training system of the GGTF allows the participant to complete the training to become a teaching golf professional not only full-time, but also parallel to his job. The training is regulated by its own training and examination regulations and is carried out by teaching professionals and lecturers from the technical universities.
membership
For membership, one of the following requirements must be met: Passed the GGTF entrance examination, recognition of other training courses as golf instructors, qualified training in sports or in sports medicine professions and at least the C, B or A license of the DGV or the passed assistant examination of the PGA .
