Gerouin
Gerouin was a measure of weight in Cairo and corresponded to the hundredweight for the so-called heavy goods.
- Cairo 1 Gerouin = 270 Rotons = 1 hundredweight (Wiener = 56 kilograms) plus 84 pounds (Wiener = 560 grams ) = about 60.7 kilograms
- Marseille 1 Gerouin = 110 rotons (about 108 pounds) = about 60.5 kilograms
