Gerrit Jan Dimmendaal
Gerrit Jan Dimmendaal (* 1955 ) is a Dutch Africanist.
Life
He completed his studies (1973–1978) in African studies, history, Arabic studies and comparative literature at the University of Leiden in 1982 with a doctorate . Since 2000 he has been professor for African studies at the University of Cologne .
