Gert Wieczorkowski (born July 24, 1948 in Hamburg ) is a former German football player .

From 1971 to 1974 Wieczorkowski played for FC St. Pauli in the Regionalliga Nord . He then worked for Rot-Weiss Essen for five years . His greatest success at RWE was in 1975/76 when he reached eighth place in the Bundesliga. In 1977 he was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga North with Essen and to date has played 101 Bundesliga games (7 goals) for RWE . Wieczorkowski played another two years as a professional at Rot-Weiss Essen in the 2nd Bundesliga North. In total, he made 101 games (7 goals) in the Bundesliga and 39 games (5 goals) in the 2nd Bundesliga North. From 1979 to 1985 he played for the San Diego Sockers in the United Statesin the North American Soccer League and Major Soccer League .
