The Obersberg comprehensive school (abbreviation GSO) is a cooperative comprehensive school in Bad Hersfeld .

School system and organization

The Obersberg comprehensive school, a cooperative comprehensive school with a focus on music and sport, located on a hill of the same name on the eastern edge of the city of Bad Hersfeld, is part of a school center with affiliated secondary schools such as the Obersberg model school in the grammar school and business sector as well as vocational schools. Spatial and personal links to one another facilitate the transition to the secondary school forms.

The GSO begins with grade 5 and ends at the latest with grade 10. The parallel classes of one grade are accommodated in close proximity to each other. In sports, religion, music as well as in compulsory elective lessons z. T. taught across school branches.
