Commercial masonry
Commercial masonry denotes the commercial abuse of Freemasonry for selfish purposes and is considered dishonorable in Freemasonry.
In Lenning's General Handbook of Freemasonry from 1900 it says: "[Just] was only the fight against those who, by misusing the ceremonies, took in non-masons to earn money and thus degraded the brotherhood."
The term “Masonic Lodge” is not protected by law. Lodges without a founding patent and without supervision by a grand lodge, on the other hand, are called angular lodges .
