Protected part of the landscape Hof Reh
The protected landscape component Hof Reh with an area size of 0.7 ha is located in the area of the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The LB was designated in 1994 with the landscape plan of the city of Hagen by the city council of Hagen.

Description in the landscape plan: “It is an approx. 100 - 250 year old group of trees / row of trees consisting of 3 copper beeches, 10 maples, 10 oaks and 2 ash trees with a trunk circumference of approx. 300 cm and approx. 20 m height as well as the pond am Hof Reh. “The LB is located in the Hohenlimburg district, Reh district, on Wannebachstrasse.
Protection purpose
According to the landscape plan, the designation was made "to ensure the efficiency of the natural balance by maintaining a habitat for the characteristic animal and plant species of the small bodies of water, including the swamp areas, as well as valuable old wood as a habitat, especially for small mammals, cave-breeding bird species and dead wood-dwelling insects".
