Protected landscape component of the ravine on the Kronocken
The protected landscape component of the Hohlweg am Kronocken with an area of 0.21 ha lies in the area of the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The LB was designated in 1994 with the landscape plan of the city of Hagen by the city council of Hagen. The LB is located in Hagen- Hohenlimburg on the Am Kronocken road within the Bemberg nature reserve .

Protection purpose
According to the landscape plan, the designation was made “to ensure the efficiency of the natural balance by maintaining woody structures as nesting, breeding, feeding and retreat areas, especially for birds and small mammals in the field”.
