Protected landscape component of the Pastbüll fruit tree rows

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The protected landscape component of the Pastbüll fruit trees is located north of Erlinghausen in the urban area of Marsberg . The area was designated in 2008 with the Marsberg landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis as a protected landscape component (LB). The LB is located in the Kuckengrund / Helmberg nature reserve .

description

The landscape plan explains the LB: “It is a row of fruit trees mainly made up of apple trees on two angled field paths between Niedermarsberg and Hesperinghausen . It has an attractive landscape in the poorly structured fields of the Red Land, but with its large gaps and partly lost old tree specimens, it also shows the difficult site conditions that should be improved by the development measure under 5.17. This applies above all in the area of adjacent fields; the northern “branch” of the settlement is mainly accompanied by grassland use. Trees have already been replanted in places in the past. "

Protection purpose

The designation as LB took place:

  • To maintain, develop or restore the efficiency and functionality of the natural balance
  • For revitalizing, structuring or maintaining the townscape and landscape
  • To ward off harmful effects

Like the other LBs in the landscape plan area, the LB represents an outstanding habitat for the ecological performance of the natural balance. It also serves as an element that structures and animates the landscape. The designation serves to ward off real or potential harmful effects through the removal of plants, relief or water changes, etc.
