Law on the pacification of the buildings of the Reichstag and the state parliaments
The law on pacifying the buildings of the Reichstag and the state parliaments was enacted on May 8, 1920 in order to create miles for the Reichstag and the state parliaments in the Weimar Republic ( Reichsgesetzblatt , page 909). The occasion was the massacre in front of the Reichstag on January 13, 1920 . In the Federal Republic of Germany , the law on pacified districts for federal constitutional bodies (BefBezG) applies.
