Law to protect children from harmful information
Federal Law No. 436 on the Protection of Children from Information Harmful to Their Health and Development ( Russian О защите детей от информации, причиняющей вред их их здоровью , the Russian State of December 21, 2010 ) is a Russian State Law of December 21, 2010 was adopted and entered into force on September 1, 2012. The law introduces age approval for all media (0+, 6+, 12+, 16+ and 18+) and regulates the allocation of information to the specified age groups.
Changes
The law was amended and supplemented by the following laws:
- " Law on Restricting Access to Unlawful Information on the Internet " of July 28, 2012
- “ Law on Restricting the Dissemination of Information on Minor Victims ” of April 5, 2013
- “ Law to protect children from information that propagates the denial of traditional family values ” of June 30, 2013
