Get Hyper is a song by British producer Droideka . It can be assigned to the drum and bass genre and was first released in July 2011, a revised version in January 2013. A remix EP was also published in March 2013, on which, in addition to the normal track, a VIP version, a dubstep remix and a trap -Remix are included.

"Get Hyper" was originally published on July 23, 2011 on the YouTube promotion channel ByeByeCopyright . On August 27, 2012 the well-known YouTuber KSIOlajidebt (bourgeois Olajide Olatunji) used the song in his video “ Q&A Sunday | BEST WISHES EVER !!! “, Then the song was used by him a few more times. As a result, the track became more popular and Droideka decided to revise it. From January 4, 2013, the new version was available on Droideka's YouTube channel, as a single from January 22, 2013.

The official music video was released on March 6, 2013 on Olatunji's YouTube channel. It shows different people and mostly himself dancing to the song. Droideka can only be seen in a few places. By August 2013, it had reached around 4.4 million views.

Charts

"Get Hyper" made it into the Irish and British charts. In Ireland the song came in at number 89 on February 7, 2013, a week later it was no longer in the charts there. It stayed in the UK Top 40 for a total of seven weeks, with the highest ranking being 29th.

criticism

Scott Mills of BBC Radio 1 said "Get Hyper" until March 3, 2013 as the "Big Thing" of 25 February 2013 ( "big deal") of the week.
