Union of Union Workers

The trade union of trade union workers (GdG) organizes workers in all German trade unions, in particular in the DGB and its trade unions and their subsidiaries. The GdG is an association built and acting according to democratic principles, which has set itself the task of representing the economic and social interests of workers employed by trade unions.

The GdG was founded on April 9, 1994 as an association of trade union workers (VGB) by employees of the DGB trade unions. In April 2015 the association was renamed the Union of Union Workers (GdG).

The chairman is Bernhard Stracke, and deputy chairman Werner Wendel.
