Gezginler Kulübü (German: Traveler's Club) is the name of a Turkish association of globetrotters whose members meet on the first Wednesday of each month in the Armada Hotel near Sultan Ahmet Square in Istanbul . The purpose of these meetings is to listen to lectures on the subject of "travel" and to exchange experiences. Famous travelers, writers, journalists, poets and artists are usually invited to these events, and most of them give a small lecture themselves or give a small concert. These events are usually open to all interested non-members, depending on the available places. However, a symbolic contribution is expected from non-members.
