Gholam Reza Aghazadeh
Gholam Reza Aghazadeh ( 15, 1949 in Choy ) is an Iranian politician, Vice President of Iran and was head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency (AEOI) from 1997 to July 16, 2009 . Before that he was responsible for the Ministry of Petroleum from 1985 to 1997.
; born MarchIn an interview with the Financial Times Deutschland in 2005, Aghazadeh said: Iran is not ready to negotiate with the EU about a permanent suspension of uranium enrichment. [...] We expect the European countries to keep their promises and transfer nuclear technology and authorize uranium enrichment in Iran. In an interview on April 13, 2006, Aghazadeh stated to Iranian television that Iran had already produced 110 tons of uranium hexafluoride for uranium enrichment .
Aghazadeh is on the "black list" following the decision of the Council of the EU of April 23, 2007 to implement Article 7 (2) of Regulation (EC) No. 423/2007 on restrictive measures against Iran .
