Gianvito Martinelli

Gianvito Martinelli (born May 23, 1969 in Bergamo ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Martinelli became a professional in 1991 with the Italian cycling team Colnago-Lampre . During his career, he won a stage of the Settimana Ciclistica Lombarda in 1992 and the Giro del Lago Maggiore and a stage of the Hofbräu Cup in 1994 . He only took part in one Grand Tour , namely for Polti Vaporetto in the Tour de France 1994 , but retired on the eighth stage after the waiting period was exceeded . After the end of the 1995 season, he ended his career.
