Gibreel B. Semega-Janneh

Gibril Baboucarr Ousman Semega-Janneh (* in the 20th century) is a Gambian judge , he is a judge at the Gambian Supreme Court.

Life

Semega-Janneh has served both as a judge on the High Court judge of Gambia and as a judge on the Court of Appeal judge . In 2005 he was named a Fellow of the Commonwealth Judicial Education Institute. In 2008 he worked as a judge in Sierra Leone as part of a secondment to a UN mission . He was President of the Supreme Court around 2006 , then was dismissed in 2015. On November 1, 2017, he was reappointed by President Adama Barrow .
