Order of the Republic of The Gambia ( German  Order of the Republic of Gambia ) is the name of an order that has been awarded in the West African state of Gambia since 1972. The order has five degrees, the names of which are abbreviated according to British tradition. There is also a medal .

Medal (RGM)

The "Grand Commander" order consists of an enamelled white cross with five arms and ten ends. In the middle is the flag of Gambia . The ribbon of the green-blue-red flag with narrow white stripes is wavy. The golden star has golden lions on the ten ends. On the top arm of the star is a European heraldic style helmet. Above the flag in the middle there are crossed farm implements, as they can also be found in the Gambia coat of arms .
