Gilles Latulippe
Gilles Latulippe (born August 31, 1937 in Montreal ; † September 23, 2014 ibid) was a Canadian theater director, actor, director and playwright.
Latulippe was a drama student of François Rozet . He became famous in 1959 in the role of frère Nolasque in the world premiere of the comedy Bousille et les Justes by Gratien Gélinas . He appeared in Le Zoo du capitaine Bonhomme and Les Démons du midi , two daily television programs with more than 1000 episodes each, and appeared in series such as Symphorien and Les Brillant .
In 1967 he founded the Théâtre des Variétés , which he directed until 2000. He worked here as a director, actor and author of many of the plays listed and archived all of the plays on tape or video. In 1998 the readers of Le Journal de Montréal voted him the most popular actor in Quebec. In 2000 he became Chevalier des Ordre de la Pléiade , 2003 member of the Order of Canada and 2009 Chevalier des Ordre national du Québec . He published an autobiography called Avec un sourire (1998).
