Gillo (archeology)
A Gillo also Gello or Gellunculus is an ancient vessel which could be used for cooling water.
In ancient literature the term is used both for a cooling container and for water and oil vessels. In archaeological research, some vessels with a narrow spout are identified as gillo , such as a silver vessel from the Seuso treasure .
