The Nils Larsen Glacier ( Norwegian Nils Larsenbreen ) is a glacier on the Lazarew coast of the West Antarctic Peter I Island . It flows into the Bellingshausen Sea immediately north of Norvegia Bay .
During the Norvegia's second Antarctic voyage (1928–1929), financed by the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Lars Christensen , the crew explored the island in February 1929. The glacier was named after Nils Larsen (1900–1976), the ship's captain.
