Gintautas Petraitis
Gintautas Petraitis (born October 20, 1944 in Paalsys , Raseiniai district , now Jurbarkas district ) is a Lithuanian correspondence chess grandmaster and coach.
Life
In 1970 Gintautas Petraitis graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in geography . From 1970 he lived in Klaipėda and worked as a synoptic and oceanologist . From 1972 he was a specialist in geodesy as an expert in construction mechanization. From 1979 to 1988 he worked as a chess trainer at the Klaipėda Sports School. He played for ŠK Margiris Kaunas .
