Gioia Meller Marcovicz (* 1955 in Germany) is a German fashion and furniture designer.

Life

Gioia Meller Marcovicz studied fashion design in Munich and then founded her own company for fashion design in London . The clients were fashion houses such as The Scotch House , Jaeger and Norman Hartnell . In 1982 she received the British design award for her own label. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in London in 1993, she has worked as a furniture designer for European manufacturers. For her work she has received the Red Dot Award and the International Design Prize for Longevity Baden-Württemberg twice .

Gioia Meller Marcovicz lives and works in London and Venice, where she has had a studio since 2001. Her parents are Pali and Digne Meller Marcovicz .
