Giorgio Mariuzzo
Giorgio Mariuzzo (born July 14, 1939 in Venice ) is an Italian screenwriter and film director .
Life
Mariuzzo started working as an assistant director in 1968 and turned to screenplay writing from the mid-1970s. He created numerous works for commercial films, a handful of which he also directed himself. He worked several times with Lucio Fulci on his splatter films ; from 1985 he worked almost exclusively for television. A pseudonym of Mariuzzo is George McRoots .
