Giorgios
Giorgios (actually Giorgi ) was a king of the Christian Nubian kingdom of Alwa .
So far, Giorgios is only known from a stone door frame from Soba , on which he is described as the Christ loving King . It is not yet possible to date this ruler more precisely.
It has been assumed that this is identical to Giorgios I of Makuria. This can neither be proven nor refuted.
