Giouvetsi ( Greek γιουβέτσι ) is a Greek dish in which meat, seafood or vegetables are cooked in the oven with the pasta in the sauce. It is a variant of Đuveč or Güveç, which is common in the cuisine of Southeast Europe .

Leg lamb is usually used as meat , but beef and veal are also common. The meat is left in the whole when frying, as a side dish, the rice-shaped pasta, orzo , typical. These are often simply arranged around the meat and cooked for the last 20-30 minutes.
