Giovanna Scoccimarro

Giovanna Scoccimarro (born November 10, 1997 ) is a German judoka in the weight class up to 70 kg.

In 2014 Scoccimarro won the European Cadet Championships in Athens. In 2015 she finished fifth at the U21 World Championships. At the 2017 European Championships in Warsaw, she defeated the Croatian Barbara Matić in the semi-finals and received the silver medal behind the Dutchwoman Sanne van Dijke . Half a year after the European Championships, she won the U21 World Championships in Zagreb. In 2018 Giovanna Scoccimarro won the final of the German Championships against Sarah Mäkelburg . In 2019 she reached the final at the Grand Slam tournament in Brasília and was defeated by the Colombian Yuri Alvear .
