Giovanni Francesco Zulatti

Giovanni Francesco Zulatti (* 1762 in Lixouri ; † 1805 ) was a doctor, composer and senior official of the Republic of the Ionian Islands .

Life

Giovanni Francesco Zulatti was born in Lixouri as the son of the doctor Angelo Zulatti . He also became a doctor and was director of the Corfu Military Hospital. In 1787/1788 his music theory work Della Forza della Musica was published in Venice . During the Republic of the Ionian Islands he was governor of the Ithaque department and a signatory to the constitution of the republic. Even after the establishment of the Russian Protectorate, his post was confirmed in 1803.
