Giovanni Marseguerra

Giovanni Marseguerra (* 1962 ) is an Italian economist.

Life

Giovanni Marseguerra studied mathematics at the University of Milan and economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science . After completing his studies with a master's degree in econometrics and business mathematics , he received a doctorate in economics.

Marseguerra is Professor of Political Economics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) in Milan.

He was secretary of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Papal Foundation Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice (CAPP) ; In 2017 he succeeded Alberto Quadrio-Curzio and took over the chairmanship of the advisory board.

Marseguerra is involved in several scientific advisory boards of various journals. He is the author of numerous publications on economic theories and markets as well as the economic analysis of companies with a special focus on the productive structure and financial aspects of the interaction between economics and ethics. He mainly works on issues relating to corporate funding policy, ownership structure, corporate governance and family businesses. He is a member of the Italian Society for Economists.
