Girolamo Mazzola Bedoli (* around 1500 in Viadana , † 1569 in Parma ) was an Italian painter who is attributed to Mannerism .

Bedoli was born in Viadana and was a contemporary of Parmigianino . He learned together with him from his uncle Pier Ilario Mazzola . In 1529 he married the daughter Pier Ilario Mazzola and added Mazzola to his surname in honor of his father-in-law. Together with his father-in-law he created the Immaculate Conception, which is now in the picture gallery in Parma. After Parmigianino's early death in 1540, he completed some of the frescoes that Parmigianino had originally been commissioned to do, and executed a number of large altar paintings for clients in Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy. In 1540 he also took over the management of the Mazzola workshop. In Parma he received almost every important commission in the decades after Parmigianino's death and was also in demand as a portrait painter. His son Alessandro Mazzola (1533 to 1608) also became a painter, but could not achieve the fame of his father.
