Gisela Messollen

Gisela Meßollen (born September 20, 1964 in Olsberg ) is a German jazz musician ( trumpet ).

Meßollen began studying classical trumpet at the age of 19. In 1993 she moved to Berlin , where she became a member of the Burundanga Salsa Orchestra . She also played in the Berlin Kansas City Swing Band and in the United Women's Orchestra . She also took part in numerous musical productions ; She played music from the 1930s and 1940s in the women's orchestra Escapade and with Aphrodite's daughters , and with Womens of Jazz Dixieland . She also teaches trumpet at Berlin schools and music schools. With the United Women's Orchestra she was to be heard on several Germany-wide tours (including the Moers Festival 2006) and also plays on their albums.
